Neighbourhood: West Loop
Fulton Market, Randolph Market, Jackson Boulevard and Greek Town make up the West Loop. The neighborhood is best known as the location of Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Studios, but this downtown neighborhood is also an up-and-coming spot for Chicago’s trendsetters. Several sub-neighborhoods within West Loop make this a unique neighborhood to visit. Dotted with factories and warehouses, West Loop is packed with various types of dining and nightlife options. If your timing is right, you can take part in neighborhood events like the West Loop Farmers Market, Craft Beer Fest, or the Randolph Street Market Festival.

First thing is they charge you a higher price at the gate than listed on their web page. When I asked about this they said the web prices were only good for on line ticket purchases. I went home and checked this out. Nowhere on their site do they say they charge twice as much at the gates as on line. So immediately you know you are dealing with disreputable people. Second point is that about two thirds of the venders were selling used Goodwill level clothing. Others were selling Goodwill level costume jewelry. So if you want to waste your money paying twice the price for Goodwill clothing and an outrageous entry fee you will love this place. If you want real vintage and antiques you are out of luck.

Sally Schwartz runs a class act market. Absolutely the best vintage/antique market in Illinois. You could spend the entire day at the market because there is so much to see along with listening to live music, having a bite to eat or sipping on a tasty Bloody Mary. Combine that with the fabulous atmosphere and people watching, the small admission fee is well worth it.

I live in Milwaukee, long drive so slow with traffic! I don't know how people that live around there can deal with the traffic! Mix of old and new and things re-crafted? not to many vendors as I went in Dec and it's an indoor market only. I hear it's crazy in summer as there are many more vendors taking up the entire parking lot. I collect vintage Christmas and Jewelry and did find a few things

Visited the Randolph Street Market on a whim. Wanted to see if I could find some magic for Christmas. Antique shopping? Maybe there where some things there but I couldn't tell. Just seemed like an indoor flea market. They had 2 racks of furs, seemed nice pelts but smelled like they had been exposed to some kind of fuel. Three levels and potentially reasonable prices but cash only, so no sale.

Nice concept, we visited when everything was indoor. Not a lot of selections, mostly attic type junk, a small selection of crafts. Overpriced entry fee, disappointing selections. Not a hole lot of anything...

Disappointed with this visit to the Market. Maybe the season. Have been once before in the summer. A much better market then.

Randolph Street Market had a nice mix of vintage and new offerings. I found almost everything to be overpriced, especially the few good offerings. I'm glad I went, but I wouldn't go again.

Very Disappointed With Our Experience. If you want vintage clothing and costume jewelry this is the place for you. This isn't a place with a huge variety. There were 4 outdoor vendors, two were huge corporations. The worst part- they charge $12 per person to go in. RIDICULOUS. I felt sorry for the vendors. Most were sitting around. I saw one who wrote down her sales. $11 by 12 noon.

They should not be charging you to attend here. The are plenty of free shopping opportunities in Chicago.

I am someone who has lived in the Chicago land area all of my life and have attended this market countless times it was always a very fun family experience or even a day out by myself was enjoyable until one day I had a an issue with a vendor and when I tried to get in touch with someone that ran the fast they gave me a hassle and a run around and when I finally did get in touch with them I think they actually made things worse I would like to remain anonymous has writing this because I no longer Trust anyone associated with this event they claim to standby there word and say the customer comes first but that is the last thing on their list all they care about is their money that they are receiving from us I'm leaving this review on TripAdvisor so no one else has to go through what I have been going through very conniving scam artist are apart of this event so please do yourself a favor if you ever do come to Chicago stay away from Randolph Street Market antique festival you're doing yourself a very big favor you're setting yourself up to be prayed on by flase vendors & scam artists yo have been warned

Browsing the vast array of tables and booths, inside and outside. New stuff, old stuff, hand made stuff, never know what you might find. Lively vibe, live music, food stalls
