Wish I could have gone on the "Sail Away" cruise I paid for. I booked this cruise during the Chicago Tall Ships event. The confirmation email did not list a location, so I googled and found on the Red Witch site it was supposed to be at Burnham Harbor Dock J. There was a specific note that it was NOT... More

Very nice sunset cruise, about 80 mins. Informative crew and about 30 passenger max on boat. Come with a jacket no matter what the daytime temp is. Also come prepared to sit on hard wood (you sit on the boat no cushions). Not wheelchair or handicap accessible.

We sailed out of Kenosha yesterday, June 5th, the day was sunny with a slight wind and on time. The crew was great!! The interaction with the crew was pleasant and professional. They offered beverages (you were able to purchase beer, wine, soda) water was complimentary. The captain gave a short talk about "tall ships" which was very interesting and... More

Extraordinary schooner "tall ship" experience. Designed by John Alden, one of the two greatest naval architects of the era, Red Witch is a magnificent sailing vessel.

The most relaxing and wonderful sailing experience I've ever had. Captain Andrew educates you on the trip a full 2 hour slice into beautiful Lake Michigan! You'll not want it to end. The wind and waves make the whole experience. If it isn't too windy, check ahead like within 4 days and schedule your trip. Go to the website, don't... More

Was very disappointed in the whole trip. We floated out in the bay,sat still for an hour,no music,no talking, no standing up,just drink serving. Then we listed to the captain complain about all the drunken idiots that were driving other boats, haveing a good time, and praise himself for being a sailboat captain. After we finally moved a whole 50 yards to watch... More

We had a beautiful day picnicking at the planetarium, then off to the harbor dock to embark on the boat. Crew were very sweet! Boat was very cool! Bathroom was clean ;) The water was calm, not especially the best for sailing but they went up, and we enjoyed our sunset view of the skyline! My Chicago was breathtaking!

Red Witch was a great Father's Day gift from my wife. We purchased through Groupon and selected Wednesday night for our trip. The weather was very mild with light winds so we motored most of the time. Fireworks were up close and for a finale we were treated to a giagantic Super Moon rise. The crew was friendly, drinks were... More

The crew is fantastic and friendly. The boat is festive - this is a must do for a party group! Definitely book The Red Witch.
