So many tourists at the bean, hard to get a picture without 20 people you don't know , keep waking through the gardens and enjoy the artwork.

I went to a park where you cannot touch grass. Haha. The place is a nice park to look but everything nearby is super costly. The park itself is clean (obviously because you are not allowed to touch the grass). I do not understand the giant bean concept and not a big fan.

We rode bikes along the lake, visited the bean, walked through the Maggie Daley park area and overall had... More

You have to visit Cloud gate or "the Bean" as it is often referred to. That area is so pretty...make sure to visit Buckingham Fountain before you leave the area.

The Pritzker Pavilion is a fantastic venue for live Music, and the Great... More

Staying in Downtown / The Loop

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.
