Fun sculpture to see - free

Great location for fun pictures with friends and family. Expect other bystanders to be in the pictures too but adds to the experience. Great place in any weather.

Conveniently located park with some great attractions - like the reflective "Bean" and the water fountain with the screens of Chicago faces. So fun to step away from busy downtown and in one block be surrounded by trees with the lake ahead of you. Good food options in the summer there. Easy access to Institute of Arts, Buckingham Fountain, etc.

I love Millennium Park. In the summer, there are FREE symphonies that play out in the open air. People pack a picnic basket with wine, cheese, fruit, all kinds of delicious treats, lounge out on the lawn, listen to the glorious music while gazing at the gorgeous Chicago skyline. Definitely not to be missed!!!!

We love our city. But Millenium Park stands separate as a recent and mind bugging addition to our beautiful Down town. It has everything ---- high-tech Bean, sculpture garden, endless walkways through variety of the plants and greenery, and, of course, the phenomenal Performance Hall under the open skies with Jazz, Chicago Symphony, Blues. Come and enjoy. You need at... More

Visiting the city with friends, went to see the Bean. Great family friendly park, with lots to see. You can walk around for hours.

Loved it! It is not only beautiful to see, but fun to walk through. It doesn't seem like you are in a big city, but rather a large open greenspace!

Millenium Park is one of the epicentres of The Chicago Blues Festival. Many great outdoor shows from some of the finest musicians in the world. From Buddy Guy to Bernard Allison. The park is open and expansive. Very welcoming. A must visit while in The Windy City

Staying in Downtown / The Loop

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.
