I am a Chicagoan. I think the reason that some people absolutely ooze over the park, whereas a few other recent reviews here dismiss it, is because the traveler needs to understand what this 'park' is all about before they visit it. I have traveled...More

After reading the reviews I made sure to stop at Millennium Park on a recent trip. What a disappointment. The faces fountain was broken, the bean was a novelty and there was nothing to really do here. After 2 minutes, the kids were bored and...More

If you do anything while in Chicago, you have to go to millennium park! Walk around enjoy the gorgeous scenery, city lights and of course the Bean! We went during dusk and it was gorgeous! Bring some coffee and take it all in.

I think this is one of the jewels of Chicago. The outdoor theater looks like a great venue to see a concert. The”bean” is a cool visual artwork. In the summer, the Lurie garden is spectacular.

Not sure if that is the correct name but they have a giant polished silver bean that, up close made me a bit woozy, but reflects some great views of the downtown. In winter they offer ice skating but the walking paths and decorations are...More

We stopped in Chicago during some major festival. We enjoyed seeing the bean aka cloud and also the mini golf round we played. My wife earned a free game at the end. Worth a visit to this park.

The giant silver bean, not sure what it's real name is, should not be missed. The curved surface reflects the city and the park around it in a very interesting way. Walk under the bean and look up. Caution if you are high or have...More

It is an interesting place to visit. Full of tourists, to though. Don’t expect to take a photo of ‘yourself only’, for there is a whole bunch of people going to and fro.
