Lovely park

Wonderful park very pleasant to walk around and so many things to see. Lots of places to sit and relax. This would be a nice way to take someone on a date.

Our group of 6th graders had an excellent time discovering all the aspects of Millennium Park. We especially loved creating optical illusions with the Cloud Gate sculpture.

The serenity of the park is amazing considering the location right down town. The Bean is a major attraction and rightly so. Reflections of the buildings in the bean make great pics. The amphitheater is very nice as well. Beautiful tulips everywhere in the spring.

Chicago should be proud of the waterfront along Lake Michigan. Millenium Park and Grant Park are wonderful open spaces for all residents and tourist to mingle and enjoy the downtown area.

Staying in Downtown / The Loop

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.
