We stopped in here after the Lincoln Park Zoo and on the way to the beach. It's a nice, quiet place away from crowds. There's not a lot to it, but if you need a quick breather this is a great place to grab one.

We had an excellent docent who showed us around the lily pool with just enough information to keep us interested but not overwhelm us. It's such a pretty place with a neat history! Admission is free!

This is such a hidden gem in Chicago. When you walk along the trail, you will be amazed that you are still in a large town. So peaceful.
