Zebra lounge packs the a full house of people and good times into a cozy little space! No matter how shy you are, you’ll be singing along with the lively pianist and feeling like you belong in this neighborhood piano bar.

Back when I lived in the neighborhood (80s) this was a real, throwback 1940s piano bar, with a real piano and an alternately rueful/cheerful songmeister. A place for a stiff bourbon and a song. Now it's a synth driven yell along akin to a Cubs singalong pad, Pity

We visited this place on saturday nov 11.
We had a blast! The piano player was excellent.
Good ambiance, every were singing!
Service was quick, we didn't had a problem with the bartenders as other said.
Only thing my first 2 drinks seemed watered down compared to the other two! (once I got known by the staff maybe? hehe)

We went there on Wed. Nov. 8 th and had friends meet us. We were planning on going to the Red Head Piano bar on Friday and thought it would be good to compare the two. No comparison! Don't even waste your time...the place is small and there was only 4 groups of people about 12 people total, and the bartender got into a big fight with one of the customers. She got hysterical screaming at the top of her lungs and swearing at this guy. Even after he left she kept complaining about things to other guests. We left because it was just unbearable. I felt sorry for the piano player. She is bad for business. Go to Red Head Piano bar. You will have so much fun!

Heard about this hidden away piano bar and is cozy atmosphere.
My wife and I stopped in for a drink. Very laid back decor and lighting.
Old chairs and tables. Unfortunately a noisy group of business buddies
got there first and were so loud we could not hear the piano player who
kept giving it her all. I can see this as a revisit to sing along some night.

Went with a couple of friends. Enjoyed some cocktails and whiskey. The waitress was really nice and there was live music after 9pm. We decided to give it go since it's one of the "still standing" speakyeasy bars since the prohibition.
It's a must see.

Not sure if it was because it was Colombus Day, but only 2 other people where here when we visited. When the bar tender asked the piano guy to start playing he took his time leaving the bar and started to play-he was great. Unfortunately the other 2 people in the bar were trashed so when he started to play they were very disruptive and continued to be so. We left after a couple songs. I think the experience would have been different with more people (of the non trashed variety) The atmosphere is neighborhood bar with a piano.

So we have been planning to go here since we moved the area. After dinner one night we decided to pop in. It was still early about 8 pm. The drinks were ordered. The the Cosmo was terrible. But the bourbon was good. The bar lady was going through the motions. I think this place must get packed and she has her system to do the drinks quick. But there was not much care taken. Anyway the piano player arrived and the atmosphere changed. We will give it another go.

Went on a Friday night with friends to check it out. Got there really early and was able to get one of the few booths. This place is pretty small, so get there early if you want any seating. Loved listening to the music, but weren't there long enough to see it fill up (probably until 10 pm) and become the raucous bar we heard it would be. I would recommend that you come a little later to enjoy the music and the ambiance.

Not your typical Chicago bar. I went here with friends while celebrating my birthday and had a blast. It was crowded, but the piano player and the rest of the bar made me feel special as they sang Happy Birthday.
