We took a segway tour of the Lake Michigan area including Millennium Park all the way down Lake Shore Drive to the museums and then back. The whole thing lasted two hours. The tour was a little short on history and interesting stories, but it was great to see where things were and to ride the seaways. Our boys loved... More

Who would have thought that we'd be riding bikes along the Chicago waterfront in mid February? Not us. But the weather was fabulous and Ryan from bike and roll hooked us up with some great rentals for the whole day so we were able to boot around the city and take in the sights as it should be done. Bikes... More

We renting bikes from here for the day, and it was a great way to see the city. The bikes come with locks etc. so you can lock them up and explore on your own time.

We have used Bike and Roll before in San Fran and they were fantastic, so I had no hesitation in using these guys again, however, we were hugely disappointed by the service we got. I checked the opening hours on their website and booked the first slot of the day. We arrived on time, only to find the shop closed.... More

We had David as our Segway tour guide and he was outstanding!!! He was so patient with us when we wanted to stop for pictures, and he was very friendly! He took us to a wonderful taco place he recommended along the beach for lunch, and we even got him to sing us a song, as he loved to perform!... More

Our tour guide was Maggie Reedy and she led our group on a terrific tour along the lake! We enjoyed her humor and knowledge of the sights and she kept us safe along the way! We had a ball! The tour included 2 food stops which we loved! I'd do this AGAIN...but only with Maggie as my guide!

What a fun afternoon with Bike and Roll's, Maggie!! It was the perfect fall day and I had always wanted to roll around Chicago on a segway! We chose the day of The Cub's World Series Parade to take a tour. Maybe not the best day because of all the crowds, but Vince was an excellent tour guide who has a policy of "safety first". Once we got going, Vince was the best guide we could have asked for. He was very informative and easy going and... More

Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.
