We walked this beach too on our long Sunday hike. With warm weather, it was very busy. So nice to see clean beaches right in the City.

I was staying near Oak Street Beach and it's great to walk along and soak up the city skyline. It's also a great spot to capture sunrise photos.

find a pay lot on west side of lakeshore drive street parking is usually only for 2 hours and you will get a ticket , then there is a tunnel from west side of lakeshore drive or you can play frogger and try street level
