Fun for young kids. Excellent location on the Pier
We had an excellent time at the Chicago Children's Museum. Three levels of wonderful exhibits and activities for my seven-year-old daughter. Highlights included Dinosaur and Water City exhibits on the Third Level. I'd recommend a stay of 1-2 hours. We really enjoyed how the museum is interconnected with the shops and restaurants of Navy Pier from the inside. You can spend hours inside the museum and pavilion if weather is an issue. Lastly, Eugene at the front desk is a very friendly and customer service oriented supervisor. He helped with our visit and his efforts were very appreciated! THANK YOU

Perfect place to be with kids!
This place is incredible, I wish I was a kid myself to play all around. We just visited with a 4 and a 8yo. They have different scenarios: you can be an explorer looking for dinosaurs fossils, a climber, a fireman in a fireplace department, you can play with water in a giant water carousel, you can do construction and you can also built a house. This are only a few thing of all the things you can be at the Chicago Children Museum. We loved it!! The people working there where always very nice and kind with us. Thank you so much for this great experience!

    Super fun
We were able to go on a free museum day. Kids 3&8 loved the museum. Favorite exhibits were the fire fighters, water and camping areas. It was a little crowded since it was free day, and there temp in the museum was hot (even though it was only 60 outside)

    Best children museum visited!
The Chicago Children's Museum is one of the best children's museum we've visited in the world! It's very thoughtful, lots of rooms with creative play, and the tinker room is very well stocked. It's one of the museums that is most generous about all the play items, such as make belief circus room, place to dig for dinosaur bones, and a huge climbing structure. Would highly recommend visiting this for anyone with kids under 6 years old!

Great children’s museum! My five-year-old had a terrific time. He could have spent all day in the water exhibit. The hours are not great. That would be my only complaint, but everything else is top notch.

My daughter from out of town brought her family to Chicago to spend time with my other daughter and her family and we went to the Children's Museum at the Navy Pier. It was fantastic! Many things to do for children of all ages. Many climbing options, a place to build things, play cars to go down fun tracks, a tree house area, a fake grocery area, a kids' plastic bowling area, a domino play area and many more. Many staff to supervise the children also. The staff was very friendly. My grandchildren go from age 18 months to 10 years and all enjoyed themselves, although the 4, 6 and 10 year olds could experience the activities better than the youngest. The price is $21 for anyone over 1 year.

It’s missing something. We arrived at 1:00 knowing that they closed at 5. I was a little hesitant to pay that expensive cost since we’d only have 4 hours. I was worried we wouldn’t have enough time to do everything. I was wrong. We did everything… at least twice. They need more here. There was not a lot to do at all. My daughter got bored pretty easily and kept going back to the firefighter display and the water area. It was just kind of boring and not worth the expense.

We had the absolute best time! We spent about six hours here and didn’t even do everything!!! So much to do and just amazing. We have a 2.5 year old but went with a 7, 9, and 11 year old who all had fun as well! Highly recommend! This is a must see!
