My husband and I came here for the Big 10 Men’s Basketball tournament and had a great time! We love how there is hassle-free parking right outside of the building. Also, the setup is one of the better places we’ve been. Great venue!

It had been years since we were at the United center. Was there last night for the Bulls game & was SO IMPRESSED! What an amazing venue! The entertainment value is unmatched beyond the game to the music, performers at breaks & more. A great way to remind us of why we love Chicago. We (senior couple) felt super safe especially using the new Uber Zone. What forward thinking way to run ride shares from such a busy venue! SUPER organized, well lit, easy to find & only a couple minutes from entering, ordering a car & being ushered to the correct lane to find it. Instead of hanging around outside hoping you find your driver, you are INSIDE a terminal it was great! We were lucky to be guests at the BMO club which is crazy cool but the normal seats looked great and fun as well. Oh & every staff member was awesome & patient even when I had some "technical difficulties" finding the tickets on my phone ha! It's a while new world and happy to be a part of it in retirement!

Always nice to visit the United Center for a Hawks game.
There is a good variety of food and drinks to choose from and an amazing pro shop to pick up some Hawks and Bulls gear for a home game!

Growing up, a little girl in Memphis TN, our family would sit over my uncles house to watch, the Chicago Bulls and Boxing. During that time, the Chicago Bulls, with Michael Jordan (23) as the captain of the team, was our favorite to watch on tv in 90s.

We went to our first Chicago Blackhawks game and were extremely impressed with the United Center and Blackhawks operation. The atrium was decked out for the holidays and there were several things for fans to experience before the game. The game itself was fun and the entertainment during dead times was excellent. The United Center staff was fantastic all the way around and do a gret job of interacting with fans. The food was good and not too bad ein price for stadium food. We chose not to park in the UC lots and used a firm called Spot Hero online. The lot was about .7 miles away from the venue and it was a nice evening to walk. Using that company saved us about $12 in parking cost.

I attended a sold-out concert here; there isn’t a bad seat in this place, even in the 300s. Excellent sound and views all around. They don’t accept cash. Bottled water is $6 each. Getting there was a breeze. We paid ahead of time via Ticketmaster ($28 or so) for a parking spot in Lot C, right by the venue. Upon arrival, all the attendant had to do was scan my ticket via phone. Then they direct you wear to park, consistent to follow the line. The way out — took about an hour, so plan accordingly. There are no police or others directing traffic out of the parking lot into the main streets. Lots of gridlocked honking cars! Pack your patience or leave out a few min early to avoid altogether. It would be nearly impossible to pick up a taxi or Uber on the way home. Didn’t see any. And with a packed 21,000 person arena… would be chaos.

Great time at the United Center, staff made sure I was taken care of and guided me to my correct seats. Small issue in terms of long lines to get food, but that is expected. Will be excited to come back!

The arena is super busy with an almost overloaded atmosphere throughout the entire place. Concessions are great and the teams stores are some of the best I’ve seen. Seats are all good. A must visit venue! Enjoy

We came here to see a Bulls game on a Saturday night. I used a paid lot associated with the United Center. After a little help from the staff, we parked and got right in. Had to verify vaccination status, tix and metal detection. We were pretty high up (300 section) but could still see well. Bulls won and we got out fairly quickly. We didn’t have anything to eat or drink but there were options galore albeit pricey. I hope to come back.

Is it easy to get an Uber/Lyft after a game or concert? Just wondering how long of a wait. Thanks!

I will be taking two teenagers to a concert at the United Center. Is there a place where I can wait for them? I will not have a ticket.

There isn’t anywhere to wait, unless you pay for parking and sit in your car. But there are lots of restaurants not too far from the United Center (example Macello on Lake Street) where you could go and hang out.

How do you book a tour??

Hi, when I was in Chicago, I looked up tours. It was March, so the boat tour wasn't available. I did see the northern city tour, the southern tour and opted for the downtown tour, and wrote asking about my mobile stroller. They obliged and we booked them. Good luck. It will be well worth it since parking is bad down town.
Going to a concert there soon, would it be safe enough to walk from a near by hotel to and from the show?

hi, it depends on how much you think the hotel is close to the United Center. I would suggest they have a bus transportation that will take you right up to the doors, instead, or you can take uber. there are like 6 parking lots around the United Center, and yes they have off duty police that monitor the parking lots, but I didn't really see many hotels nearby. Good luck. btw, the bus system doesn't cost much and is available after the events.

Are you able to see the court from any of the bars located in the arena?

No, they are outside of the arena. So you actually miss out on the action in the arena if you have a drink or something to eat at one of the bars. Maybe there is some VIP bar, but this I don't know.

I sat at the 300 level during the Laver Cup tennis tournament in September 2018 and I remember one of the bars at one of the stadium’s “corners” (Smirnoff? Captain Morgan?) having a small standing room section with a small counter that looked down over the seats onto the court located just before the steps leading to the seats. There was definitely no direct view of the court from the bar itself. Hope this helps.
