Awesome Venue for concerts! Safe and Fun! Tourist friendly
We went there for a Kpop Concert Twice and it was so nice! Everything was organized so well. Going inside they actually had merch lines both downstairs, mid-level and upstairs. Also there was portable charging stations that was available, Total lifesaver for someone that flew in the day of the concert and needed to uber home. If you are Ubering home they have a uber pickup station that you hang out in until your ride is there. Overall it was a seamless process. Fyi Some of my pics are from section 314 and 318

    Pearl Jam Concert at UC
My sister and I went to the Pearl Jam concert. We were there about an hour before the concert started so getting in was quick and efficient. Having no side walls on the stage provided a great 360 experience. The sound was much better than I anticipated. Getting food, beverages, and bathroom breaks was quick and easy.

    Overpriced Everything
When are people going to stand up to these stadiums and their incredibly high price gouging. The stadium is nice. The seats are comfortable. $4.75 for a water, $7 for a Pepsi…..ridiculous. The food and beers are out of reach for a family. I hope the owner’s can sleep at night.

    Perfect for a concert!
I went to the United Center to see a k-pop band called Enhypen and they were the best venue I have ever went to! Before the concert, I heard a lot of horror stories of Enhypen's other stops of disorganized staff, but the United Center handled it perfectly. They honored the GA line and kept everyone in order and led us in very calmly stopping people from running or creating a dangerous situation. The staff was very friendly and organized. The venue had a clear view and was the best GA experience I ever had. 10/10 recommend!

We came here specifically to see the statues of the greats - Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita and Michael Jordan.

Be ware - the MJ statue has been moved inside the venue and can only be seen during open hours in the Atrium (west side entrance). Hours 10am - 5pm.

Unfortunately we didn't know this and thought it was still stationed outside the venue as google maps indicated and we were there too early in the day to see it. But we did get some pictures with the chicago hockey greats.

I visited during a time that no games were happening, but I still wanted to visit the Bulls/Blackhawks shop to get some gear, and visit the Michael Jordan statue. It was very nice. Lots of cool items inside.

As a life long Lakers fan and someone who goes to a couple games each year, it was refreshing to go to a Bulls game and see how another city does it. Concession prices were reasonable, public transportation was convenient and much more of a community atmosphere before and during the games.

First time at this venue. Saw the Eagles in concert. Seats were comfortable. Sight lines were good. Acoustics were very good. Attendants were personable. Food and beverages were plentiful and priced as you would expect $$$

Arena Tour Series (United Center), Part 1

“Everybody was Kung Fu fighting (huh!). Those cats were fast as lightning (ha!). In fact, it was a little bit frightening (huh!). But they did it with expert timing (ha!).” 🥋
Carl Douglas

The tone for this hockey game was set during the pre-game announcements when fans were told that they must contribute if @nhlblackhawks were to be assured of a victory.

Many of the fans took this to heart and one sitting below us levied nearly continuous abuse of the glass separating him from the combatants. Based upon his body language I’m guessing that his comments were not affirming of the opposing players or the refs. 😳

While there was occasional booing for some of the penalty calls, the loudest boos initially seemed to be because there hadn’t been a fight...yet. Well it wasn’t too long before it was time to rumble! 🤜🤛

While the first fight was a little lackluster, the title bout lasted so long we thought there might be a 3rd intermission! 🤕 I learned that the quality of a hockey fight is also judged by the players and both teams applauded with their sticks when this one finally drew to a close. 👏

Also worthy of applause was @anthem_singer for his performance of the national anthem! 👍

Although this was just our 6th NHL game, we have a suggestion for @nhl to make these contests even more exciting. We noticed that just prior to each period the referees skated about the rink with great enthusiasm. Well how about sending out just one more ref than is needed each time and having them all duke it out Gladiator style to determine which one is benched for that period? C’mon, you gotta know that would take things next level and the crowd would go bananas! 🤯

We were impressed with the fully enclosed Uber Zone across the street from the arena which had us on the way back to our hotel within approximately 10 minutes of our arrival.

Visiting from San Diego we thought it pretty hilarious when the announcer proclaimed excitedly, “For the 1st time in the last 72 hours we’ve gotten up to 3 degrees here in Chicago!” 🤣

And that’s…Henry’s Take.
