The lab has 6 scientists who do research half of time and help the visitors half of time. The lab is also a real one that they use to produce educational videos. The interaction with real scientists was the highlight of the trip.

It’s location. It’s a a short walk from Shedd and depending on how many movies you want to see you could devote 2-3 hours easily. In 2 we were able to explore more of the exhibits quickly and see a movie. That’s enough for me.

This place is fantastic. Very interactive , the Planetarium shows are informative and visually amazing. There was a lot of people and shows sold out quickly , so planning ahead would be beneficial to ensure you see everything you want.

Not a big cooler but they say bringing a “brown bag lunch” is permissible. It’s in the FAQ section on their website.
