This museum gives you instant bragging rights. The worlds largest T-Rex, the Lions of Tsavo, Egyptian mummies, and about a thousand other things you never thought you would see in your life. You will be bragging about the things you saw here to all your family and friends. A little advice, plan a lot of time here. It is located... More

What a great museum.......for teens and adults. Tons of exhibits to go through and very intriguing material to both read and view. We went on a Thursday in mid march (around 12:30). No line to wait for tickets and wasn't overly busy. We parked in the Soldier's Field (North) garage and it was very close to the museum (easy to... More

We usually stop at the Field Museum when we are in Chicago, and we always find something that we haven't seen before. The collections are very comprehensive, although at times the special exhibits do not justify the extra price to see them. You would need a full day to see everything; however, half a day will work just as well... More

Spent the day here with my husband. There is alot to see so you should plan your visit ahead of time to make sure you don't miss anything. Parking was easy and close. I wanted to see Sue, the T-Rex. He/she was smaller than I expected but I was still amazed to see it in person. There are alot of... More

This is a huge museum with lots of different exhibits. Some of its dated but it was still fascinating. I hadnt been to the museum for roughly 25 years. Be prepared to do lots of walking and standing, but fortunately, there are lots of places to sit and rest your feet. The massive exhibit of animals was incredible. We opted... More

Named after the famous business man Marshal Field, this museum is first class. The care and design that go into the exhibits are world class and world renowned. Home of Sue, the most complete T-rex ever found, she will greet you in the great hall along with many other displays that have called this Lake Shore Drive location home for... More

This place is truly impressive! The building itself is just overwhelming. There is so much to see. We were only there for a half day and felt very rushed. We know that we didn't get to see everything. I would recommend planning a full day here. Or two half days if you can. Once again, if you are visiting Chicago... More

Big museum. Has shown it's age. There are not many interactive exhibits. Younger kids get bored quickly.

Lots and lots of things to do here. It can easily take up 3 hours of your day so be sure to give it the time it deserves. Loved every exhibit, especially the tattoo exhibit! The China 3D info was pretty neat as well. Worry checking out for sure!
