We have young kids and wanted an easy hike not too far from Victoria. Witty's Lagoon was perfect! Its less than 30 min drive from Victoria's Inner Harbour area. The waterfall takes less than 5 min to reach on the path. Keep walking for another 30min and you hit the beach with gorgeous views, lots of white sand and driftwood... More

Nice easy hike to the beach. At low tide you can walk a bit of the beach. The best part of this park is the sitting lady falls. If you only have 30 minutes walk the 200m down the path to the falls.

Great park with great water access. Nice walks and takes you right out of the city . Need a car to get there or long trip by public transit.

An accessible trail (preceded by an accessible parking lot) to be enjoyed by just about any mobile person. Resulting in beach access to Witty's lagoon & Witty's beach, both of which are to be admired and appreciated...hopefully, preserved forever. Sitting Lady Falls is spectacular at any time, but particularly in winter when there is lots of water...take the trail to... More

Rushing water, moss covered trees, rugged beach and scenic views give a hint of this easily accessible place of beauty and charm. This place is a gem and a mecca for dog lovers and dogs.

This rocky beach was unpleasant due to the smell of decay. The water was very warm compared to several other locations along the coast, which is probably inviting to bacteria and such. There were lots of swimmers here, but it seemed unappealing. There were lots of crabs and sea creatures to discover which would probably be entertaining to kids. The... More

If you plan to go to the beach-side of Witty's, expect an army of annoying kids to be there sharing the beach with you. There are better options for adults. With that said, the trail is magnificent, excellent views, cool ocean breeze, what more could you ask for?

The trail is fairly steep in places and was a struggle for Grandma. The steps are covered with wire mesh that will prevent slipping when wet although the path was dry when we visited. The bridges across the ravine and creek as well as the viewpoint were favourites with us.

We had someone with us with mobility issues and she could not do the 1.2 km walk to the beach. For those that can the reward is some awesome scenery, nature and quiet.
