I have been to Shoshone Falls at least 5-8 times and I have never seen them like this! They are currently running so full it actually reminded me of Niagara Falls. The sound is a roar and the mist is beautiful! If you are anywhere close you need to make the effort to get there because who knows when they... More

I was lucky to make this trip from Boise with my boyfriend. It is quite a drive but worth. I am not from the area but someone recommended the trip due to the fact that season was changing and ice was melting, hence high amounts of water. Upon arrival, it was loud! These falls are known as the "Niagara Falls... More

We are lucky that the falls are at their peak right now because of the record snow fall in the mountains. Easy to find, cheap entrance fee, and lots of parking. Nice walking paths, park facilities, plenty of good places to snap photos against the falls.

Shoshone Falls is a stunning waterfalls in Twin Falls, Idaho. The waterfalls were amazing through the pictures on the internet (that where I found out about it), but reality was even more amazing. The first look of it already made me think of Niagara Falls in Buffalo, New York. Later, I found out that people truly called Shoshone Falls -... More

Shoshone Falls is always amazing but the hour wait to get into the park is not worth the view right now. If you live within 2 hours come on a weekday and find an odd time of day to come. The water is high, making the falls larger than normal but it is also muddy and full of debri.

Have always wanted to see the "niagara of the west!" It's only a shirt hop from interstate 84 but only just now got to it and was very pleased, despite having heard that diverted water from the snake river makes it less amazing than formerly. 65 meters high and 274 meters wide, it is quite extraordinary! And I learned something... More

Drive from boise to see the water in this record water year and we were not disappointed. Spent 75 minutes walking around to all the different paths and look outs, and because we went before 3/31 there was no charge!

This year, Shoshone Falls has more water cascading down, than in the last twenty years. From all around, and looking up the Snake River gorge, the beauty surrounds you. This is a must see if you enjoy beautiful waterfalls.

Went to Shoshone falls on March 15, 2017. I think the falls are the fastest, most water they have ever had. Great experience. We drove 2.5 hours to get there. Well worth it. Also went to the new visitor center by the bridge. Great place.

The Spring snow melt was in full force and the result were these beautiful falls! Mist filled the air and two rainbows were formed. The viewing spots are ample and on several levels for easy access. The grounds are immaculate and very well kept. We were there on a Wednesday and the crowd was large, but with all of the... More
