A friend's family has a condo here so we planned a couples trip. I was the only beginner while the rest of our party are advanced skiers. The staff were excellent. The rentals were in great condition. The lines were short. The snow was good. We had a great time!

I know, I know--holiday weekends are crazy. There are so many people all with their gear and heavy clothing and helmets and backpacks and food....it's hard to find room to sit or even to walk around if you decide to go in the lodge. But the bathrooms, surprisingly, didn't have a line even for the women! Lift lines were bearable,... More

We have been going to Schweitzer for years and it never fails to disappoint. Early season conditions in many ways this holiday season but some recent snow made for excellent riding. Lots of packed and loose powder and some nice soft moguls to shred! I didn't get a chance to go into the new Summit Lodge but it looks amazing.... More

This is a wonderful place to ski, snowboard or just take pictures. The lodge is great for getting warm and having some hot chocolate.

A weekend trip from Spokane! The snow was amazing! The rental shop was busy but the gear was awesome! Loved my burger in the ChimneyRock and my noodle bowl up at the SkyHouse! Access is a challenge but if on a budget, stay in Sandpoint and take the shuttle up. This place is a hidden gem!!!!

Stayed at a Beautiful cabin at Schweitzer ski resort complete with fireplace and hot tub. Grill, covered car port, wine welcome package, and full kitchen too. So much to do. Loved watching the fireworks from our hot tub.

The mountain has a good variety of runs so those on lower levels can still enjoy their runs all day long even if they are not comfortable going to the medium or advanced runs (FYI there is a lower mountain lift ticket so if you have a person (adult or child) that would only want to stay at that level... This is my favorite mountain. This is where I learned to board over 20 years ago and I don't feel like I need to go anywhere else. So many trails and pit stops! Easy drive up, easy parking lot. Fun had by all every time!

We did this for the drive up, super gorgeous scenery. Once we were up there the views took our breath away. I would like to come back in winter and see it then in all its glory.
