We stayed near Lower Bay and visited the beach almost daily, with the exception of a few days when the surge was quite high. There was never a crowd. It did get busier on Sundays, but was still very enjoyable.

This is the furthest from the main port area of Port Elizabeth- it has several good bar/restaurants and is quite simply beautiful. There are some rocks at certain points restricting entry to the sea, but gaps are plentiful and the sea gorgeous!

Quiet beach with decent snorkeling at each end of the beach. Soft sand, sunset views, several restaurants (Petra’s and Pam’s were great), and bay is calm enough for open water swimming.

Clean and tidy. Visitors were sparsely spread out. Steeply shelving beach. Fantastic views over the yacht haven. Recommended.

Spent an hour or so snorkeling around. Sadly, there isn't too much to see. Princess Margaret Beach is a little better.

I go there every time I am in Bequia. My favorite beach. Bring a towel if you wish to lay out or you can rent chairs for EC10 but they are limited

Lovely. More quiet than Princess Margaret beach. Gorgeous too! De Reef is right there for food and drinks and you can rent chairs quite cheaply.

This beach was nice, a little rough at the shore with rocks and steep decline in the water. some cruise ship vacationers were ferried over here and got a little more crowded. Beautiful sand and shade and water.

We stayed at the north end of Lower Bay Beach for 2 weeks in early December. We walked to/from Port Elizabeth at least a dozen times. It is a lovely walk along the beach ... no need to climb up high to the main road... More
