The video and the museum were very interesting, and we're not even horse owners. There were hands-on activities for the kids and a range of exhibits. The docent was most helpful.

I'm not a horse fanatic but my companions are very much horse lovers. They loved the technical and skill aspects of the horses fascinating. I learned about a breed I knew very little (nothing?) about and I found the displays and the movie intriguing. The...More

My wife is a lifelong fan of the Appaloosa breed. The Museum and Heritage Center is a must-visit every time we are in the Moscow-Pullman area. While it occupies a fairly small footprint, it is packed with fascinating displays and artifacts.

Sign is hard to see from road. The "live exhibit" was closed. We drove over 300 miles to come. Wasn't as great as the website showed it to be.

Very informative, interesting Museum. Has many facts about the Nez Pierce Tribe and the Horses they raised. Unfortunately, they don't display the Horses until April

We have had to visit the museum often because two granddaughters love horses. I like the history of the Palouse offerings.

You will enjoy it if you are interested in horses. The entrance fee is a "donation" and quite reasonable. Plenty of displays about appaloosas along with a video presentation.

This is a small museum, but well displayed. It has many artifacts that pertain to horses. It also has information about Native Americans. The video is very informative and educational. Staff was friendly.

The Appaloosa Museum is part horse, part history museum right on the state line. It's definitely worth the stop. The museum is split in 2. One side mainly tells the history of both the horses and the area. There is a short video that is...More
