It is truly one of the most beautiful lakes I have ever seen. There is plenty to do and see. Rent a boat or wave runner for sure.

This lake is amazing. It is clean and crisp. It is large enough that you can go a half hour in a different direction and find a whole new venue. The water depth varies significantly. There are hidden swimming holes and rope swings for the...More

We stayed at the Sam Owen Campground and couldn't believe how spectacular this lake was. We wished we had more time to spend admiring the lake and the mountains. I almost hate writing a review, because I want to keep it a "hidden gem".

What a gorgeous lake. Stayed in the Sam Owen campground and boated for 2 days. Visited several restaurants in the area, Garfield Bay was nice and boating into Sandpoint was unforgettable! Would go again for sure!
