    Beautiful garden - phone beforehand
The parts or the gardens that we saw were really lovely and well tended, although we did only see the parts around the entrance. There was a bell to ring for the tour guide but sadly for us it seemed that nobody was around. It's a bit out of the way so I'd suggest phoning ahead to make there's someone there.

Beautiful gardens made better with a great tour
Really great tour from Shaun! The gardens are really lovely and the tour was so informative Shaun also picked different leaves (bay, all spice, cinnamon etc) so we could smell the different spices and also picked star fruit for us to try which was delicious. There were lots of beautiful and interesting plants to learn about all of which were explained well to us Definitely worth a visit!

    A Peaceful Interlude
The gardens were peaceful and lovely, set into a hillside. There was a variety of trees and flowering shrubs, and the opportunity to take some interesting photos. The experience was enhanced by the guide, who also tends to the gardens, he was very knowledgeable, and clearly dedicated to his work.

A bit disappointed when we arrived. There was just plant after plant and the ground was soggy. However, as it progressed and the sun dried the grass out it was much better.
The guide was very knowledgeable.
Enjoyed seeing the tortoise as much as the plants.
Not good for disabled many steps.

We went here in an excursion organised by our cruise ship. It’s not a large park, but it was really brought to life by the guide Shawn, who did a fantastic job describing the plants and showing us the wildlife.

This is an absolute gem of a garden. So many exciting plants and trees. Also the young Shaun who was our guide was inspirational. He clearly knows and loves his plants and this garden. We will be back soon.

Wonderful guided tour. Thank you Shawn for sharing your knowledge and passion for the land and everything growing on it! We truly enjoyed our time here learning about the different plants. The garden is a labor of love, so be sure to swing by and support it for other to enjoy.

We took the #4 bus from St. George’s to Laura’s gap. We hiked up the hill to see Laura’s herb and spice garden, and then over to the Palm Tree Gardens. It was a lovely morning and easy to do without an ‘excursion’. The views are great.
