We took the boat from Venice to the Lido as we hadn't visited it on a previous trip. It was a lovely warm sunny day, which of course helped. I could have sat there all day, it was lovely and well worth the visit. Great ice cream served here too!

A little cold in mid April but the sun warms you up. The sand is very fine and light. Plenty of changing rooms. I think there was only 1 bathroom and you had to pay 1 euro.

Having spent the first day of our two-day valporetta pass going to Murano, Burano and Torcello we set off the second day for Lido. We walked straight down the main boulevard which was being repaved and modernised. It will look good when it is finished, no doubt. We enjoyed a walk along the beach, looking for interesting shells. The beach... More

We went to the Lido beach using the ACTV service. It took us 55 minutes to reach there after which we had to walk 15/20 minutes before we arrived at the beach. When we arrived there it was isolated and all the shops had closed down and gone home. The weather was windy, wet and cold. Disappointed since we thought... More

It is only a 5 minute walk from the water buses to the beach. The sand was a fine sand. Water is a little cold in April, but people were still swimming.

Wandered up and found a nice little beach bar that served a good menu for lunch. Lovely Mini Arrancine balls and croquet potatoes that were delicious! Nice large beer and a relax in the sun! What more could you ask for! I would imagine it would be packed out in the summer!

I went with my husband. We took a ferry and from Lido station walked straight for 10 min till we reach the beach. Its beautiful, peaceful as less people have explored this as tourist destination. We had amazing time, walked at beach and weather was sunny. It was very relaxing trip. We combined this trip along with our trip to... More

Hired a small shack at the very front of the beach, it was very peaceful and the water was just lovey. Plenty of shops around if you wanted some retail therapy or food/drinks. Wished we had more time here as very relaxing.
