The beach wasn't active at all on the Sunday morning that we visited. But one could see how outstandingly organized the beach is- my first time on the Adriatic Sea. There are dozens and dozens of little shacks for changing and placing belongings. We very much enjoyed our all-to-brief visit to this pleasant relaxing island- a change of pace from... More

Along the beach is partially privatised but, there is a section at the end which is public. The public section gets really busy. That said the beach is lovely.

The beach does not look that great, however, for those who enjoy walking on the beach, with the noise of water breaking on the shore and the sea breeze on your face, this beach is wonderful.

I have heard really good things about Lido so decided to stay here instead of in Venice. We went in October just off season but had a hot day so decided to visit the public beach. I found this really dirty and everything around it to be run down and decided to leave after only a few minutes being there.... More

Clean, quiet beach shelving shallowly into the Adriatic Sea. Glorious spot to chill out - walking along the sand or paddling in the sea! :-)

We stayed on this island and enjoyed our short walk to this beach. Understand that there is a public beach as well as a private one where you pay to reserve a cabana. The restaurants at the public beach serve nice large beers if you just want to relax and sip one while you people watch. Highly recommend.

This beach is gorgeous although the the blanket, handbag and the beach traders can be very annoying. I also had the interesting experience of being stung by a very small jellyfish which was almost impossible to spot even after he had stung me so I advise you to be careful and take the time to pack some kind of antihistamines... We went here from Venice purely to experience a lengthy ride on a waterbus and we were not disappointed. Lovely quiet and relaxing beach and lots of little cafes. We ate here and took a stroll along the beach, only stayed a few hours but was worth the visit. Would be ideal for children as we saw children playing on... More

We slept in Reiter hotel in lido- the hotel is ok and the area is very nice but if you aim visit Venezia most of your visit-Make sure that if you add the ride fare to Venice (at least 7.50 euros each way which means 15 euros per day per person) to the room rate, you don't pay the same... More
