Easily accessible during a downtown stroll. Hiked along the lake from a city park near the convention/mooring area. Families, groups of school buddies were on the trails or swimming in one of may secluded cove beaches. Can only imagine what getting out on the water...More

The lakes in northern Idaho are spectacular! Every time I am there I feel lucky to be there. Coeur d' Alene does not disappoint. It is massive and offers rustic and developed accesses. There's a nice city beach right in the city, or you can...More

Lake Coeur D'Alene is simply stunning. A particularly great day can be had taking the 2-3 hour, more for stops!, drive around the lake. Charming towns, great hiking, and some good food make for a perfect day trip.

Beautiful resort town. Fantastic trails and friendly people all over. Did a nice run along the Centennial Trail which goes for 75mi!! Will swim tomorrow with a bike route check. Had a great coffee in town after the run as well.

I've been in CDA in December and now June. The eagles were a big attraction in December, but you've got to be able to put up with cold winds (I'm more of a warm-climate person). Summer has been quite beautiful on the Lake, and the...More

So I'm taking my girlfriend for a weekend in Coeur d'Alene and am wanting to propose. But have made the mistake that I don't know the area at all. Are there any decent beaches that are secluded with public access or similar areas? Thanks in advance!

Take the low trail to the west around tubs hill. You will find a beach at the southern most point. This location is nearby downtown CDA.
Where can I find prices and descriptions of boat tours?
