Hundreds of miles, that's why it's named Centennial Trail. You can ride to your hearts content. Practically the length of the lake. Across the lake at St. Maries. Really beautiful. All level of riders can enjoy something on this trail. For the number of years we've traveled up there every summer and can ride a different section of trail, never... More

As a local who uses the trail almost daily, I can say that the Centennial Trail is a real treat. The ride East of town is along the lake and a perfect 1-hour bike ride. The section through town has great access to city parks and Tubbs Hill.

Great ride from hotel to Lake or walk along the river to the lake. Nicely paved, open areas as well as shaded. Mostly flat. Very pleasant.

This trail is an easy ride starting from downtown. We went west as far as Post Falls. Some of the trail parallels the freeway, but its all paved suitable for all levels of biking.

We took this bike trail after biking the Trail of the Coeur D'Alene two days prior. We wanted something close to town and this was the ticket. We left from the park by downtown Coeur D'Alene and headed towards the Riverfront park, beautiful place. Then headed off from this trail towards the Prairie Trail. So many choices to deviate from... Easy to moderate biking trail with OK views. A portion of the trail is parallel to the highway. You can rent bikes in town.

Stretching many miles along both the Spokane River and Coeur d'Alene Lake, this paved trail will give you the opportunity to get some exercise while viewing beautiful scenery. A great local treasure!

Walked the trail, the parts of it in the park are really good but when it leaves the park it's less of a trail and more of a random walk on sidewalks with signs. Stick to the park.

This trail is actually quite long. I believe it is about 26 miles from the east side of CDA to the state line. It then connects with the Centennial Trail in Washington, which runs about 35 miles through Liberty Lake, the Spokane Valley, Spokane, and up into Nine Mile. Some spots are more scenic than others, but I highly suggest... More

The Centennial Trail is a very nice example of what happens when communities decide to dedicate public space for good use. The paved trail runs from Spokane to east of Coeur d'Alene (I'm not sure how far). We walked it from downtown CdA to the Veterans Bridge (about 5 miles out). For the most part the trail runs next to... More
