I bring my kids here because it's an easy hike and we love the views of the lake. There is more than one trail. We've always taken the lower trails which are easier. Many people take their dogs. We don't usually go during the winter months.

What a nice trail! Family and pet friendly. We saw tons of people in bathing suits going down to places on the lake from the trail. It was hot day and a Sunday so everyone was out, but what a lovely hike and scenery is just amazing. Lots of ups and downs on the trail and in shade and in... More

Give you legs a little workout with this wooded hilly 2.5 mile trail. It's right next to downtown, but once you get on it you just see the lake and pine trees. It's popular with the locals who are all very friendly.

Tubbs hill is so beautiful, just springing with life! There are numerous hiking trails you can take, and the views right there by the lake are spectacular. It's kept clean by the citizens, and there are bathroom stops at the beginning and end of the trail. If you're looking for a good place to walk your dog, that's it. I... More

My 7-year old and I were easily able to walk this trail. It is rocky in areas with a few short uphill climbs, but doable overall. That aside, it is a beautiful trail and one that would be tragic to miss. There are plenty of offshoots for the more adventurous, but even the main trail is worth seeing. We started... More

Breathtaking views. The trails crisscross all over, but they all go to the same place. You can make this hike short by doing the simple loop, or you can explore the various side paths and take your time.

Easy short hike around a lake loop. Bring a lunch and drink and sit on a rock overlooking the lake. There are many quiet spots.

Tubbs hill has lots of different trails. You can stay along the shoreline or head to the top or both. Close to town. Many people watch fireworks display from the hillside. A wild natural oasis to visit and recharge.
