We drove through Coeur d'Alene. The visitor center was closed on Saturday, no opening hours mentioned. After searching through some brochures we decided to do the short Tubb's Hill Trail. You need good shoes for the hike, which starts at the park. Nice views! Also...More

We hiked Tubbs Hill after we finally found the trailhead. What beautiful views from the hill. Nice side trips down to the beach below. It would have been easy going except for the rocks in the trail. Some were huge! My husband steadied me so...More

There's a nice history about Tubbs Hills. It's a nice walk for kids to seniors. The view at the top if peaceful to see the CdA cove. Easy access and paths to follow. Put on your tennis shoes and enjoy!

I love Tubbs Hill. Nice easy hike if you want or you can make it harder. My only complaint is the fact that it is supposed to be dogs on leash only but many people ignore that and let their dogs run and get mad...More

I've been hiking Tubbs now at least twice a week for several months now for fresh air and exercise. This is a year round hike and in fact is much nicer in winter with no crowds or tourists packing the trail or tying up parking...More

Yes, but with caution for one spot. There is a short length of trail near the beginning of the lower, main trail (on the resort side) that's essentially large rock surfaces that are cliff side. A slip here if it's icy or... More
