We attended a wedding here. Luckily it was a beautiful day so the bride and groom chose to have the ceremony outdoors. For the reception we were indoors. The building is beautiful and very spacious. The only issue was the account is were a bit...More

3 of us. Sunday afternoon. I've always wanted to see this place. Easy access to the parking area. We got there about 2 pm and maybe 20 people there at most, honestly most of them outside taking pictures. The grounds are outstanding. Well taken care...More

We enjoyed a family visit to The Boise Train Depot. We saw the building from the other side of town so drove over to see what it was. The Old Depot is nicely restored and the landscaping and views are worth the visit. Spent about...More

This is worth photographing on the front and track side. I happened to get lucky and was able to photograph a Boise Valley Railroad WMAX train from the platform side. Sadly, there is construction right at the end of the depot where the Union Pacific...More

The depot is a wonderful slice of history. It's wonderful just to wander the grounds or to tour the beautiful old building. It's fun to watch Fourth of July fireworks here, too.

This is such a cool place to hang out. In my opinion it gives the best view of Boise. It's a very well kept area.

One of the nicer city views in Boise which looks directly toward the state capitol building. The building is nicely preserved and there is a signature workhorse locomotive outside to look at with informative historical information to read. The museum, however, is disappointing as it...More

The building is mostly closed, but the outside grounds are pretty to visit with waterfalls, fish and flowers

I've lived here for years but didn't know much about the history of the train depot and the railroad in general. I attended an "open house" with live entertainment and a tour of the depot, including the vast knowledge of our host -- very interesting!

Eriks gave a great tour, full of fun stories, good information and told in a casual manner that kept everyone's interest. You can tell the Depot is special to Boise and it's a nice way to spend an hour or so. Also in the airport,...More
