This was a natural habitat for a lot of birds including eagles and owls, deer, beaver, badger, and a lot of others. Ada County has ruined that by putting in office buildings, an event center, expanding the raft rental building including parking and storage of...More

Community center is beautiful for a large group of people, up to 200. Spring, summer, and fall, the facility is well lit by the natural sunlight from outside. The inside is air conditioned. Nice for teas, weddings, and more.

I started floating the Boise River 40 years ago, back then there was nothing. Today there is Barber Park. Barber Park is a great place to park your vehicle and relax before you float the river. Back in the old days you had to bring...More

I took a taxi from airport to Barber Park for about $25. I rented a tube for $12. They will need an ID and Credit Card as deposit for the tube. You can then float downriver Boise to Kathryn Albertson Park.

We have 2 young kids, a 1 year old and 2 year old. I was wondering if it is safe for them to accompany us on the river float Thank you,

I wouldn't take children that young. Not until they at least know how to swim. The current in the river can be really strong, and even though they have life jackets on, they can get stuck on objects that are under the water... More
