If you like to hear bag pipes you may be fortunate enough to hear pipers practicing in the park (it's large enough to avoid them if you don't care for their music).

Been to a few parks around the coty now, this one is also very nice. It's on the other side of the road from Ann Morrison Park and also has plenty of space to walk and have picnics, etc.

There is no park more beautiful in Boise. This gracefully landscaped park that was once the horse pasture of a local philanthropic family is now the backdrop for nature walks, family photos, and weddings alike.

Great walk and very relaxing park. A ton to see. Everything seemed very clean and it seemed that everyone that we saw were having a very enjoyable time. It was almost as if the parks joined but we didn't mind, either that or we just enjoyed it so much we walked into other places and parks. Enjoy the great outdoors.

As we continue to explore the Boise area (having just moved here last month), we loved this beautiful place right next to downtown. We especially liked the ponds with lilies as well as the vibrantly colored wildflowers along many of the paths. We also loved the ducks, frogs, fish, dragonflies, etc. There were plenty of trails and benches from which to ponder the many beauties of nature. Calming sounds of a fountain bring peaceful thoughts and help mask traffic noises. It's a place that I'm sure we'll visit again.

Along this walkway, we watched a group of people practicing their surfing skills at each of the dam areas. Who knew? Clean and welcoming all along the way - restrooms closed for Covid, though.

If you drive by for sure park and walk through the park area. The paths are so short so it will only take 10 minutes or so. They where building a new extension on the back left corner that looks nice = partially overlooking a small pond.

This is a great place all year round, especially in the fall with all the fall colors. Nice paths to walk around the lake and lots of birds to view. Highly recommend for a nice romantic walk with a loved one!

Very nice walk along the river, trees were beautiful and you can tell that it is well maintained. Bike riders and joggers seem to be well aware of tourists. Take time to walk over the bridge by the zoo to see the Boise State campus.

There are a lot of trails to follow and explore within this beautiful downtown park!!! You may even see a deer or other wildlife along the way, and it never feels crowded, because there are so many areas!
