We went in search of Julia Davis Park because of a picture of a statue of Abraham Lincoln that was shown in the information provided by our hotel Inn at 500. We had a lot of fun at the beautiful Julia Davis Park. Years ago, they used to have the Boise River Festival there. It was only held a few years, but the park is still there with lots of fun things to do. We went to the Zoo, saw the Lincoln Memorial, rode bikes to the Green Belt and rented paddle boats on the little pond there. There is also a stage for a band/performance. The park was easy to find and was spacious with paddleboats and geese!! The trees were awesome to wonder under during the record heat when we were there.

How is this possible? Seems to be plenty of parking with other attractions situated within the park. Quite the gem of a park. Well done.…
