We enjoyed a couple of hours walking around this interesting museum located in a pretty park setting. The exhibitions were quite diverse and honored some local artists as well as one local person's private collection of well known modern artists. It's open and inviting with...More

This is a delightful little museum. We happened to be there on a rainy day, so it was a perfect indoor activity. While one of the current exhibits was a bit too avant-garde for me (woman depicted marrying a bear and becoming a bear herself...More

smaller art museum than might be expected for a town this size, but nice permanent collection and good traveling shows. Rick Bartow exhibit was great.

This museum has an "open" feel and is well laid out. The current exhibition of "When Modern Was Contemporary" displays the work of several dozen 20th century artists. We are not art aficionados, but we enjoyed viewing art from that period. And, the "Bricks and...More

Not too big but it's worth going. Friendly staff and it supports local artists. Loved the sculpture garden. Was light and mellow. Go with a calm state.

There were a few interesting pieces, and the sculpture garden was well done, but otherwise this art museum might be missing the mark. If you are into modern art, you might enjoy it. This should be named the Boise Museum of Modern Art.

Nice, well done smaller museum well worth the visit. Heavy on local art. They also seem to have many exhibits tailored for younger ages.
