Nice memorial out in the open next to the Greenbelt and near the zoo. Lots of quotes from human rights activists on the walls. A nice statue of Anne Frank and quotes from her. Very thought-provoking. This memorial looks very well maintained and has a couple of pretty waterfall fountains.

We found this by accident when we were riding our bikes on the Green Belt. It is a great outdoor tribute to human rights. There is an amazing statue of Anne Frank standing on a chair, carefully looking out of the window of the house where she was hiding. You can walk on both sides of this display and get a small sense of her frightening situation. There are many quotes about human rights, places to sit and contemplate and rest. There is a lovely water fountain. There are recorded messages you can play to learn more about human rights. Very well done and in a beautiful spot along the Boise River.

Newly moved to the Boise area, I wanted to visit a local attraction on my birthday. After searching out a few places I decided upon the Anne Frank Memorial. It is a beautiful spot to read the many quotations and contemplate their meaning. I really like the waterfalls and streams -- they add so much to the experience. We found free street parking with shade nearby which was nice. The only suggestion that I have is that some of the stones with carvings should be cleaned of the leaves and spider webs.

This is a nicely laid out monument to Anne Frank located along the river trail. I thought there was a connection between Miss Frank and Boise, and was curious what that would be. As others have pointed out, there apparently isn’t one. Still, spend 30 minutes or so reading the quotes and reflecting on the hardships that she experienced.

There are better sites to visit. It reflects an agenda that is out of place in the US. Explore the beautiful nature of Idaho.
