I love this city. The Greenbelt is one of many reasons. It's such a great path to walk or ride your bike on. Beautiful scenery.

We enjoy riding along the Greenbelt in the summer due to the shade. The path is level, so not strenuous. We have ridden from Eagle to Lucky Peak, and have ridden both North and South banks. You will travel a more continuous ride on the...More

With the Boise River running through the city, Boise has taken full advantage of the opportunity to create a wonderful bike/hiking path for the use of anyone who want to use it. I had two opportunities to use the Greenbelt on two successive days and...More

Great to relax and take a walk in nature. I soaked my feet in the river, saw ducks and different birds, and got a taste of Boise that I didn't expect.

This area was very scenic and really nice. It was over 100 degrees when I was there and was a bit muggy, and the place had an odor of sewage. I would suggest a spring visit.

I ride the green belt probably once a week. It's awesome! It's cooler to ride by the river in the summer and it's pretty quiet in the winter. It is a little bumpy in places and can be fairly crowded on perfect weather days but...More

The Boise River Greenbelt has so much beauty to offer families, walkers, bikers. The Boise River flows along vegetation, which includes wildlife such as ducks and geese and deer. It's a Great place to just wander and escape the hassles of every day life.

If you haven't been to a Boise, take some time during the day to go the the Greenbelt oath along the river to relax. You can walk, bike, skate or just kick back on the grass and watch the river roll by.

A bike ride or walk on Boise's Greenbelt always helps wipe away the stress of the day. There's never a time when I don't see some wildlife that distracts me from my own thoughts and worries. In the Summer, it's a few degrees cooler, so...More

The greenbelt offers lots of places to relax. I was working so didn't get much of an opportunity to use it. Nice place, enjoy.

I suggest taking the Broadway or Vista exit and head towards downtown. You will see Boise State University and the green belt is on the other side of the river behind the University. That is the easiest landmark to help you... More

It is accessible in the area I was. As far as renting a scooter I am personally not aware of places you can rent scooters but that does not mean it does not exist.
