It was a nice little drive to Birds of Prey. Had an injured finch with me. I had driven around trying to get the poor little thing aid. My cat Nikki found the little bird in our backyard, alerted my mom and I to it. Of course the place was closed. There were some guys around working and tending the... More

Thank you so much for making the trip up the hill. The Condors are certainly amazing and our view is one of the best in Boise! AND, yes we are closed due to ice and snow damage to our roof which caused water damage inside our Education Center. The birds are warm and safe, although we all miss visitors. Repairs... More

There's no other place like this in Idaho. You will learn a lot even if you think you already know it all. The California Condors are something special. The flight in October is a must see. These birds are amazing. As for our family, we are members and visit several times a year.

Plus, if you like to be creeped out... Hermann Goering's goshawk is in a back room! Never knew he was an austringer'til I saw that. The entire facility is great for... More

A bit of a drive south of town, but worth the trip. Very impressed with the overall operation here. Many well done exhibits with friendly and knowledgeable staff. An assortment of live birds on site to view up close. Several presentations each day provided more information and a chance to ask specific questions. If you love birds or just want... More

The World Center For Birds of Prey Center is a must see when you're in Boise. It has live bird exhibits, live bird shows in the Fall at their scenic amphitheater, bird experts, a birds of prey research library, history of falconry and a display of where falconry originated. Highly educational for all ages.

Just go. Great people and a great cause. If you give a crap at all about birds of prey (including eagles, falcons, owls, condors, etc.)...just go. They have great displays of some birds of prey in the autumn...all free and super cool.
