We traveled to the Disney Castaway Cay private island and it was beautiful. We were one of the first to get off the ship and get to the Castaway beach to reserve our chairs. If you want a seat on the beach, get off the...More

After an exhausting two weeks at Walt Disney World we were looking forward to a relaxing day on Castaway Cay. We were one of the first families off the ship as we wanted to make sure we had a prime spot on the beach. After...More

We spent a day here as part of our cruise on the Disney Dream in the Bahamas. It was so much fun! Can hardly wait to go back on our cruise next year. Everyone in your party is given beach towels after you exit the...More

I've read some of the reviews that were marked three or less and have some concerns with their expectations versus reality. The island is absolutely amazing. It is clean, organized, and has everything you could possibly need or want. My wife and I spent the...More

A beautiful island, mostly unspoilt and it's great to venture around. There are beaches for family, adults only and kids only so there is a place for everyone. The BBQs are a must for lunchtime. In the morning is great to hire bikes and go...More

Seems like more and more cruise lines have their own private island these days, and of course Disney does not want to be outdone by anyone. The island is nice enough. It seems like parts of it are definitely manmade. The main beach has plenty...More

I am only giving this Island 4 stars, because I loved the ship and other ports. We went on a Disney Cruise in May (and we are going on another one in December - that shows how much we love these cruises); however, Castaway Cay...More

There are sand wheelchairs available for the children who need them and we saw how caring and accomadating the aqua staff was as they helped a disabled child's family decide which water ride was the best for him. We rode the aqua bike and had...More

Perfect place, divided by adults only and families beaches. You can get any place with shuttles in the island, and if you want by rented bikes. Food is better on adults only beach and service to your seat is superb, Disney style.

We have been to Castaway Cay in late January/early February. The water temperature is cool, but not so cold that you don't adjust to it and the air temperature is usually beautiful. I love it during this time because it is... More

I bet if you ask your server on board the ship, he can have lactoce free ice cream waiting for you at the BBQ. For real. They accomodated my gluten intolerance very well. Not a problem at all.
