We absolutely loved the Tybee Island Lighthouse. My grandson and granddaughter walked all the way to the top! Beautiful scenery. Can't wait to go back!

If you're in the Savannah/Tybee Island area, this is a must see destination. Not just the Lighthouse but also the surrounding houses and buildings.

We visited this during a day trip to the island. The grounds are kept beautifully and the available info on history is not overdone but gives a nice level of info on what living and keeping the light was like. We did not get to...More

Very interesting to see such a well preserved piece of history. Tucked behind Fort Screven just a few steps from beach access. Great picture opportunities from all around.

My wife and I recently visited this lighthouse during our road trip to Savanah. Paid my admission and climbed the 170+ steps to the observation platform at the top. Paused at each of the landings to catch my breath:-). Enjoyed the view and the museum.

A bit under 200 steps to the top, with a landing after each flight made it pretty easy to climb to the top.. Great view to Tybee . The lightkeepers house was awesome, restored to original time.
