We chose this tour as it has strict rules for not 'chasing' down whales and stressing them which was important to us. Lauri and his crew were so warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our trip excellent. It took about an hour to sail out to where the whales had been spotted, with Lauri pointing out birds... More

We went for a tour during the winter from Tromsø and everything went very smoothly. We booked online and just showed up on the booked day and time at the location described on the website, and got a spot. The boat was very nice and warm, with tea, coffee and cookies provided throughout the trip. Standing outside was really cold,... More

The boat, MS Jacquelyne, was comfortable and cosily lit with candles. Our guide, a fisherman, was very knowledgeable about humpback and orca whales as well as other wildlife and he actively relayed information to the group. Being skippers ourselves, we appreciated that he first went through the safety features on board. What impressed and pleased us most was how Arctic... More

We did a whale safari from Tromso on Jan 2nd. We weren't very lucky and we just saw a couple of Orcas from afar, but the guide (Lauri) was doing his best to try and spot more for us. He's also very kind and has a lot of knowledge about whales and wildlife in the area, which is really interesting.... More

Boarded ship at the pier behind Clarion Collection Hotel With. Nice small group of around 15 people. They served really nice hot fish and vegetables soup! They kept a decent distance from the whales and 1 humpback whales appeared suddenly right in front of us flipping it's huge body over. Got all of us excited and happy on New Year's... More

We took their whale safari tour in August . Although we did not get to see the minke whale, we saw several groups of killer whales. It was absolutely amazing. The company seems to be very respectful of the animals, keeping their distances from the mums and their calves, not chasing the whales, etc. They provided some biscuits, bread, coffee... More

In my first trip, we have no luck, so I went for a next one, and it was the greatest. We have seen sperm whale, and group of killer whales. I was almost crying because I was so moved by the greatest view I have ever seen. Thank you for the trip, it was amazing and the soup was delicious:))

We have seen several pods of killer whales, guided and commented by a very knowledgeable and friendly crew. Of course, luck is needed for both weather and the fantastic encounters.

We went for a day trip with Arctic Whale Tours, and were not disappointed. First of all, this a small company in a small village - not a big industry like we can see somewhere else. We were beginning of August, and had the chance to see orcas (killer whales) like 1 hour after we left the harbor ! That... More

One of the best experiences of my life. Nice people, excellent soup, and the most important, not so big boat to see the whales. Their phylosophy is not to chase the whales, but stop the boat and let them investigate and approach. We saw plenty of humpback whales and also killer whales. Incredible!
