Located in a lush mountain valley in North Georgia Wine Country, the 6-acre vineyard features European vinifera grapes (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Tannat, and Petit Manseng), along with a French-American hybrid planted in 2016 (Traminette), and five dry wines on our Stonewall Creek label. In the 2016 Georgia Trustees Wine Challenge, our 2014 Boriana (Petit Manseng) was named Best of Competition, and competed against our 2014 Cabernet Franc in the blind tasting as Best White Vinifera and Best Red Vinifera (100% Georgia Grown), respectively.. We offer three wines, Norton, Norton blend and semi-sweet Petit Manseng on our Standing Deer Cellar label. (Our Norton grapes are grown nearby on The Stack Farm.) Stop by the picturesque vineyard and enjoy our wines served with a mountain view along with local goat cheese and artisan bread. CLOSED FROM CHRISTMAS TO MID-MARCH. Open WEEKENDS from March 18th though May (Saturdays, 11:30-5, and Sundays, 1-5). OPEN 4 DAYS A WEEK from June to mid-December (Thursday, Friday and Sunday, 1-5 and Saturday, 11:30-5) or by appointment.

This winery is amazing and has a very intimate tasting room with great people to talk to behind the bar. We got to talk to the owner and his wife and they have an amazing story and knowledge of wine. The wine is BY FAR the best wine we have had at any winery in Georgia and is comparable in... More

So glad you enjoyed your visit and our wines! Thank you for your kind comments. Our Stonewall Creek label wines are grown in our vineyards under the constant guidance of my farmer/winemaker husband of almost 51 years (April 5). If you were to divide the product (wine) into thirds, it would be 2/3 vineyard and 1/3 winery. We have one... More

We've had the pleasure of visiting Stonewall Creek Vineyards on several occasions and always enjoy it. To begin with, the place is drop dead gorgeous. Upon leaving the main road you immediately decompress as you travel down Standing Deer Lane where the namesake deer often can be seen grazing on the hillside. Upon rounding the bend the vineyards and winery... More

"Mom and Pop" are taking a little break to catch up on bottling, labeling and pruning along with an expansion of our terrace. We plan to reopen weekends beginning March 18th and then Thursday-Sunday from June-November. Thank you for your kind words of support! More

The owners are always on hand to answer questions and talk. They are smart, funny, and incredibly informative. Gail, in the tasting room always knows what's available, what's coming in the next releases and describes each variety accurately! She also makes wicked great wine jellies!! I can't wait for them to re-open at the spring wine highway event! In the... More

My husband and I did their complete tasting. It was our first in north GA. The owners live on the property. They helped us understand the grapes and process. We had a nice cheese plate that included a spread made from their merlot. We got more for home. The view of the vineyard, the locals and their dogs (the official... More

Such a fun time as part of a winery tour! Check out the tasting room at Inside Out Store - you will be glad you tried lots of wines but then stressed because you will want to buy them all... :)

We love our tasting room at InsideOut Sautee! There's always something going on around the tasting bar. Agree that tasters do want to "buy them all." Yes, ANNE ROCKS! More

We frequent the north ga wineries but mostly towards Helen and Dahlonega. Today my daughter rec game brought us to Tiger ga. I figured after getting up at 5 am I needed a mama drink, I am usually very leary about taking my daughter to a winery but this was not the case. We were welcomed with open arms and... More

Love it! We try our best! Thank you for your generous comments. We keep the berry lemonade on hand for the wee ones and designated drivers. In the midst of harvest now: Malbec and Tannat are done and looking at Cab Franc this coming weekend. Then, it's our annual Harvest Stomp! on the 24th. Looking for the best grape stompers... More

We travel all over going to vineyards and tasting rooms and we really enjoyed visiting Stonewall Creek! Miranda assisted us with the tastings and the prices are reasonable and the wine is very good. We ended up purchasing the 2015 Boriana and the 2014 Cabernet Franc along with both doing wine tastings. The atmosphere is nice and it was well... More

Beautiful time of year to visit our North Georgia Mountains valley! Two weeks ago, our vines were full of ripening grapes. Since then, we've harvested our Malbec, Tannat, Cab Franc and Petit Manseng. Two more to go. Your wine purchases are favorites with our tasters. Our emphasis is on French grape varieties grown in our 5-acre vineyard. Stop by again... More

Anne, a.k.a. "Mama Bordeaux", made this tasting so much fun for us. So much so that I walked away with two bottles! She really knew a lot about the wines and truly became a part of our small group. The wine is really good! Stop in and see her (and have a sip or two) if you're in the area.

Wonderful wine in a scenic and relaxing setting. Enjoy a wine tasting while looking over the vineyards. The goat cheese and crackers make a nice pairing. The wine is excellent and the owners and staff are charming. This would make a great place for small weddings or parties. Be sure to visit if you are in the area.

Thank you for your kind words! Carl and Miguel are finishing up our "double pruning" in the middle of a stampede of buds. (Fingers crossed we don't get a spring frost or hail. Mother Nature rules here!) Stop by again if you're in our neighborhood. More
