We took the house tour which was guided, thorough, and very informative. The grounds are expansive with a self guided tour. You need to be up for a walk to see them but they are beautiful.

This Plantation is quite interesting. It is mostly a self guided tour, except for the house. The guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job. Every staff member we encountered was very good. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Don't miss the house tour, then explore the grounds on your own. It is significant that every piece of furniture and personal item in the home was owned and used by the family -- just as they left it. The tour guide, Ann, was excellent.

Drive back through the winding oaks and time to this beautiful mansion. We had a small group docent tour with Ann. Our tour was interesting and informative. I confused some of the people because several lived here. Everything is well maintained with a hunting theme....More

Grand house. Ornate and opulent. Beautiful grounds. Intesting history. Enthusiast docent. Good way to spend and afternoon while in Thomasville.
