This bridge is a beautiful example of bridges from our history. Everyone with young children should bring them out to see and to actually drive over this bridge. There are not many left so stop by soon!

Built by renowned covered bridge builder Horace King, this is a fantastic example of his work. It is more interesting because it was disassembled and moved to the park in 1969. The old boat visible from the bridge has been used in the filming of...More

I love this old covered bridge that you are still allowed to drive across. There are not many left standing so it is worth seeing.

We drove across the bridge several times to get a view of the beautiful lattice work. The bridge is one lane only but has a nice turn around area for vehicles. Nice view beside the grist mill.

This is not a real bridge. It is a foot bridge on the golf course that you can see from the road. Unless you are golfing you can't even get to it.

I don’t see one of these every day, so you know we had to drive on it! It’s all just so charming! Loved it!

Beside the Grist Mill, I think this is the most charming spot in the park. It's just plain fun to go across the bridge, draw the bridge, photograph the bridge or just sit and look at the bridge and the water. Whatever time you can...More
