This unbelievably detailed sculpture takes the viewer into another world. It is amazing to think of all the hazards and work that went into creating this beautiful piece! Highly recommended for all!

Hiking to be top of stone mountain is a must do in Atlanta. Gives you a great view of the city and surrounding area. We did the hike with young kids (youngest is about to turn 3) and it wasn't too tough for them. The...More

This carving is a lot bigger in person. It takes up a good portion of the side of the mountain. Definitely one for any history fans.

The carving on the mountain is larger than Mt. Rushmore, and it is magnificent in its detail. The 3 mounted Confederate figures seem to be riding their horses forward right out of the stone.

Incredible carving of several Civil War Confederate Generals - carved right into the mountain rock. Sculpture was done by the same artist who carved Mount Rushmore in South Dakota. Amazing piece of artwork as well as an American history lesson.

Definitely fun for all. Would not recommend for a rainy day because that would close most attractions but great for nice days.

It cost $15 per car to get in the gate, regardless of how many are in the car. Once you get in there is no charge for parking in the parking lots.
