Not been for a couple of years but still a lovely place to while away a couple of hours. Staff on hand and helpful with super informstion and hands on exhibits for young and old alike. Interra ction displays exhibits petfect for youger ones.
This is such a lovely place, one I have visiting at least 18 years. I never tire of coming and my children love it now. Such a nice little place and in lovely surroundings. Also it’s free!

Hands-on activities for children - interactive exhibits (although some not working), dressing-up, games, crawling through tunnel, walking through a mine, etc.

We had a fabulous afternoon doing activities organised at the museum. Louise was most helpful and pleasant and we had almost three hours entertainment. will definitely come back and track was is going on in the future
