A fantastic learning and playing experience for all the family. We've recently invested significantly in a brand new mining gallery showcasing the area's rich history and heritage. We also operate a full calendar of events. Come down and see us and pop to the Pavilion afterwards for a delicious afternoon tea!

Visited the museum many times with family as it is on my doorstep. Hands-on activities for children - interactive exhibits (although some not working), dressing-up, games, crawling through tunnel, walking through a mine, etc. The gift shop gets full marks from me, it is pitched...More

We visited for birds of cannock chase exhibition. Very interesting to discover local wildlife spots which we knew nothing about. Museum is a wonderful exhibition of life when Cannock Chase was a large working coalfield. Free to entry - well worth a visit.
