Many people fishing from the power. Great place to watch the sunset even though the sun isn't directly viewable. Great place to photograph the lighthouse. You can watch pilot ships come in and dock. You can watch tankers and shipping vessels come through. Something always...More

This is a really place to sit and see a sunrise or sunset. Many people fish here. Pay attention to people casting hooks. The ocean breeze feels wonderful after a hot day!

This is a nice public pier right near the lighthouse, park, and downtown shops. Lots of people crabbing and fishing (you can purchase or rent supplies nearby). Even if you don't, it's interesting to see their catch. Large pier with both covered and open areas,...More

This is a great place to watch people fishing and crabbing. Also this is one of the spots that you can whale watch. Don't be surprised to see large container ship pass by.

We visited here when on vacation. It had several people fishing and crabbing. It was fun to sit in the shade & watch while enjoying the breeze.

Beautiful sunsets from the pier! Easy to walk, ride a bike or golf cart to the pier. Lots of restaurants to choose from on the main street.

Apparently yes, but of the hundreds that fish there, no one does. I have asked at the local fishing tackle store as well and they told me not to bother with one.
