My husband and I love walking through old cemeteries and when we passed this one we knew we had to turn around and go back. The only problem was it had just stopped raining so the ground was very wet but that didn't stop us. This cemetery is the final resting place for soldiers who died in the Civil War as well as the Revolutionary War. It's extremely well kept as is the road that takes you through the cemetery. I did see something I have never seen before...1 - 2 foot long live worms all over the place (in the grass and on the road). I'm assuming all the rain brought them to the surface. If you love old historic cemeteries, this one is definitely driving a bit out of your way to see.

My parents are buried here and it is always well kept. The only thing that could be better is when they cut the grass they could clean around the head stones
