To think that this couple created this rock garden back in the 1930s, I find, is amazing. The home is still on the grounds and occupied. Winding your way through the area is easy, 3 different paths. Lots of different paths and unique areas where one can see the awesome views. Very easy and fun to get around. The famous... More

A hidden gem - had fun following the trails, looking at the views and chilling out. The trails are cleverly orchestrated and appeal to adults and kids alike. There's also a good spot to chill with a coffee half way through. Would recommend.

Rock City is a great way to make memories with young children. It will take at least 2 hours to walk through the formations. The paths are paved and there are some stairs but it is easy for any physical ability. The fairy tale village was neat. Half way through you will arrive to the key attraction with amazing views,... Make sure to wear comfortable shoes...you'll walk alot! So much to see-The weather was not that good the day we went but we still had a great time. We ate at the Cafe 7 and everyone was just great (the wind was high) So we lost our menu-but they were very understanding. We loved the look out point-just great views.

We have gone to the Rock City Gardens since I was a little kid. It still fascinates me to this day. I love the rock formations and passages and the beautiful views. It is looking a little dated these days but its still a very interesting place to visit. If you haven't seen it, please go check it out.

Something for everyone and something different to see in all seasons. I could have done without all the gnomes, and trolls, and fairies but if you have children under 8 or so it gives them something to see and look for and keeps them from getting bored! Lovely views and scenery all around. The rock formations, gardens, and views are... More

Loved the views and scenery all the people were super friendly! I wish we had waited until later to come and visit when the flowers were in bloom. But even still they do a GREAT job at maintaining the grounds.
