Calleja, el famoso aventurero leonés, preguntaba en una red social: ¿Sabéis en qué se parece la cordillera del Himalaya a la cordillera cantábrica? Y la respuesta fue que en las dos existe un K2. Aquella es la montaña más emblemática del mundo, y el Espiguete, la altura más emblemática de la montaña palentina y una joya para todos los escaladores del país.

Montaña fantástica para ascender, sobretodo en verano sino se tienen conocimientos de alta montaña invernal. Además, tiene rutas alrededor para todos los niveles.
