Cannot recommend enough about this place and if you're a fan of Laurel & Hardy, then you must visit this place and even if you're not or haven't seen much of their work or don't know too much about them, then it's still worth making the detour to visit the museum and the town of Harlem

Lots of memorabilia which are displayed all over, great to go watch a short movie or two from the boys. The festival on the first Saturday in October is great and you need to see the wooden cars that are hand made, just ask the curator. Not to be missed

The Laurel and Hardy Museum located in Oliver Hardy's home town of Harlem GA is a cozy space that is jam packed with memorabilia. It has multiple full-sized statues which provide plenty of photo opportunities. I visited during the annual Laurel and Hardy Festival which really adds to the experience. Definitely recommend this as destination spot for the festival or... More

I came across the museum while I was in Georgia for a wedding. There were signs on the highway advertising the museum so I decided to check it out. It resides in the old post office building in Harlem, Ga. It is run by volunteers. There are so many items about Laurel and Hardy, it is amazing! There is even... More

We had planned to visit for over a year-- And we were not disappointed. It's a typical, tiny museum for someone (pair of someones) who is loved and treasured by the founders and keepers. Laurel and Hardy movies (excellent quality) were played continuously- and great entertainment. (It's all free too) the museum was filled with L&H items which had been... More

If you're in the area of Harlem, Georgia, this is a great little side trip and visit. The Laurel and Hardy Museum is a tiny place but gigantic with memorabilia, artifacts and a small but quaint viewing room to watch Lauren and Hardy movies and shorts during the hours of operation. It was just a great visit. If you, as... More

Awesome visit. My Mom is a huge fan and just watching her emotion at this visit gave it 5 Stars. Also, very nice curators and very well organized. You can even hang a watch a movie. A must stop. Harlem is a cool town.
