Went to the Community Garden for the 1st time for their annual plant sale. What a nice place. Run by volunteers and they were all very helpful. Prices were very good. Can't wait to take a class there.

Trail is 3 miles (concrete) and connects to another park to extend the walk. Perfect for people who like long walks. The walking trail is new. It is a popular park. New play area for children. Food trucks and sometimes live music on Thursdays during the summer. There is also a skate park and adequate parking.

Great find Food Truck Thursday! We were in the neighborhood and wanted to get something to eat. Had seen Food Truck Thursdays advertised in the local weekly paper (the Crier) and decided to give it a shot. Lots of people there but not a long wait for any of the trucks. Music there, too.

A bit dissapointed on our visit a few month ago to the Dog Park area. The park is big but they were doing work so some sections were closed off. But there is a lot of trees and shade and that is good in the summer time.

This was our second visit this week. The first was wonderful on Wednesday. Today, Friday, we went back and were alarmed at the odor of old stale urine present in areas of the stream and one set of slides ! It was just like being in the French Quarter or Key West on a hot day. A very strong bathroom odor present . I am going to call the park number on Monday and report it with hopefully a quick response. I see that the park is closed at night but I wonder if it is being entered and the area in question has been misused.

This park is truly a gem and deserves to be treated as such by all that use it. I hope this will be quickly resolved.

This park has everything: a large playground for children, an extensive bike trail, lots of walking paths, a community garden, and trees everywhere. One minute you're in a suburban park, and seconds later, you're in moderately forested paradise. The park makes you feel like you're hiking, when really, you're in the middle of the suburbs. This park is perfect for families, couples, and people just wanting to escape city life for awhile. I would definitely recommend this park to anyone looking for a fun day.

I wouldn't drink the water from the water fountains or spend a lot of time in this park. It's a Federal Superfund Site!

A very large park with all sorts of amenities:
-Tree top obstacle course ($$$)
-Baseball/Football fields
-Several dog parks
-Walking/running trails; paved/unpaved
-Tennis
-Disc Golf; 9 holes, not fully completed and no signage
and on and on

Parking can be full sometimes creating a little bit of traffic

My wife and I recently visited this community park for the first time. Located at 4770 North Peachtree Road this 110+ acre park is the largest in the region. We enjoyed walking the 2+ mile paved trails that run throughout the park. (Bike, scooter and Dog friendly(must be on a leash). Benches are strategically provided along the trail where you can sit and rest. (also offers the Brook Run Bird Walk trail). After finishing our exercise we enjoyed a snack at one of the multiple picnic tables by the kid’s playground. We also visited the Veterans Memorial. This park is extremely busy and a great place to people watch. Very safe, well maintained and family friendly. Opens daily at 7am. Plenty of parking in multiple lots. Other park features include:
1-Children Adventure Garden is a huge Kids playground with benches, sit down area with tables, restrooms, and a water feature (stream) that runs through the playground (operates during the summer months)
2-Community Garden
3-Huge dog park (Two wooded acres for off leash exercise). Separate areas for small and large dogs
4-Largest skate park (lighted) in the region. Challenges any skill level
5-Two new lighted baseball fields featuring artificial turf (multi-sport overlay for baseball, softball and soccer)
6-Treetop Quest offers adventures including 12 zip-line adventures and 52 obstacles (picnic tables available)
7-Veterans Memorial directly across from the Kid’s playground
FYI...There is construction currently going on with more features being added.

Whether taking a walk on one of the trails or attending an event here, this is a great park minutes from Dunwoody and the Perimeter business center.
