Took my nephew to play mini-golf on a Saturday. Some of the holes were closed due to repair of the greens, but they allowed us to play both courses for the $8.00 fee instead of up-charging. My nephew had a blast, but this mini golf course has definitely seen better days; it could use some new paint and repairs. It's also right near the very sketchy Gwinnett Place Mall and while it was once a very nice area, it is going downhill. If you don't mind the drive, I highly suggest driving to Roswell to the Aurora Cineplex; they have an amazingly well kept mini golf course.

This is an ideal place to take the family for some fun together time - interesting theme and reasonably priced. Go later in the day or early evening when the Atlanta heat subsides.
This is fun and interesting putt putt, mini golf, whatever you want to call it - great changes in elevation as the course meanders around and up - with an interesting pirate history fact at each hole. Recommend doing 27 holes instead of 18 for a little more.

Back in the 90’s, this place had a line out the door to play the course, but like the area around Gwinnett Place Mall, it’s taken a serious nose dive. My daughter and I went and we had the whole place to ourselves. Granted it was a Thursday mid-morning and hot, but it’s also not an area I’d be in after dark. The greens have patches in many places, trash cans hadn’t been emptied in a while and there were leaves and debris on them as well. Wouldn’t take much to take a leaf blower to it. Wouldn’t take much for the one lady working to be a little friendlier either. The few positives are that the prices are reasonable, the setting is neat for kids, the information plaques on different pirates at the start of each hole are enjoyable, and my 7 year old had a fun time. It’s a shame because it’s one of the few putt putt places in the area and it used to be a great place, now it’s just so so.

Parts of the course are in good shape and parts are not. The course is NOT handicap friendly. There are lots of stairs to go up and down, with no places to sit and rest in those areas, no signs advising of this and no short cuts to go past them. In other words, once you get past the 8th or 9th hole, you have to go through all of the remaining holes, including up and down stairs, in order to even get to the exit or a place to take a break. Plus, many of the wooden stair treads are in very poor repair. It is not a place for anyone who is in a wheelchair at all and is questionable for someone on crutches or with other similar challenges. It would have been more manageable if they at least had seating in those areas.

My Sister brought me here to celebrate my 60th birthday today and I had a wonderful time. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous and the course was fun to play. Thank you Mr Kubiak for a great warm welcome! I see this as a place I will come often to be outdoors and have fun. Anyone in the area please give it a try and you’ll see what I mean.

In town for brother’s wedding, and needed something to do with the kiddos. My dad and I took the 2 boys (age 7 and 5), and they loved it. We played the18-hole course and had a blast. There were fun facts about pirates, great scenery, cannons blowing up the water and even a pirate ship. They even offered a Military Discount (must ask for it). It was VERY hot, and not much shade, but we all had a great time on this well-maintained and challenging Putt Putt Course!

Pirate's Cove is honestly in a state of dispersed. The foliage on the course was over grown and made it difficult to walk from hole to hole - which was made worse by the horrid stench coming from every body of water on the course.
It also took over 90 minutes to play 18 holes of mini golf, which, in my opinion, is unacceptable, but the course management refused to do anything to speed up the play.
Go at your own risk, but I would recommend the mini golf course in Roswell, as opposed to this one, if you're really feeling the itch to play.

This is one of the best mini golf places in Northern Atlanta. It has a nice water feature running through the course, which the kids enjoy. It also has levels and decent scenery associated with the pirate theme. My kids (11, 13) like to play both courses. The only downside to this place is its proximity to the interstate, so you hear the cars the whole time. However, that's not really as distracting as it sounds. The other consideration is that when it's a hot summer day you can get sunburned here because you are outside and exposed to the elements. We've gone here for many years and have always had a good experience. I should also mention that the arcade area is really small (3-4 games) and not current, so it's not a place to spend much time playing arcade games, although the air hockey table is an attraction.

It was ok...the staff was friendly, maintained well, although the water was nasty in places and stinky. The course isn't very challenging, great for kids. The lighting is non-existing on the green and it was a bit crowded which made for a wait on every hole. Not a bad place to go..during the daylight.

The cost is approximately $8,00 per person. The course has some fun holes. There are some stairs but not too difficult. There are benches and lots of shade but it does get a little warm in places. Lots of running water and the golfing area is very clean. The staff is friendly and the location, right off the freeway is convenient. There is plenty of free parking and they do serve some cold beverages. As an added treat we got to watch mommy and daddy goose with their five baby birds learning to swim. We will definitely return with our grandchildren. They are 10 and 12 and they had a wonderful time.
