This place is awesome! You want find a better place to learn about the early history of Georgia. The staff that work here are very knowledgeable. They have a very good gift shop with souvenirs and wonderful books.

We visited on a day that had re-enactors on site. They were great. Very Friendly. The site is great for History Buffs.

Totally worth the $7.50; not sure why others thought it wasn't. You get a short film about the history of the fort, a small museum with artifacts, etc., a nature trail, a small cemetery, and the fort itself which is full of reconstructed wood buildings...More

Very interesting. We didn't allow enough time to go here. Didn't realize the history of it and what was there. Went in at 4PM and didn't get to enjoy it to the fullest. Ran out of time, had to forfeit going out to the Ft....More

I did not see any dogs there. I doubt it. Call and find out for sure.
