Thanks to Mike Fulford, our Land and Legacies tour guide. Mike was mesmerizing he was the best. He shared history and pictures and answered questions. Mike was extremely nice I would recommend this tour to anyone that is interested in touring Cumberland Island.

This was a super overview of the island, nature and history. Our guide Mike was a mesmerizing storyteller. His knowledge of the area was encyclopedic. Hes also funny. A dont miss.

There are no paved roads on Cumberland. It is all packed sand. The tour is bumpy on the northern end of the island due to tree roots. You do have to do the whole tour once onboard. If your primary goal is to see the horses... More
