Columbus has done an excellent job rebuilding downtown. There are large sidewalks and parks along the river where you can watch the zip liners, river rafters and fishermen. Shady trees are along the walk to keep you cool. Many restaurants, shops and cafes are a...More

It's worth a visit, especially when special events are present. Pleasant walk after a lunch in one of the local eateries.

We love going to the river walk and we use it a lot. Keep in mind it’s not monitored very well so always be on the look out.

5 of us went and really enjoyed the walk. It was a lot longer than we original thought. 8 miles was just the south side of the walk. There were nice monuments and picture taking spots. We also stopped and talked to some local fishermen....More

Went to the river walk area, and just watched the kayakers. It was very relaxing. We will come back to try the river rafting and zip lining. Great restaurants are only 2 blocks away.

The River Walk is a beautiful area along the Chatahoochie River. Made for families as well as individuals. Stroll, picnic, relax. Beautiful.

Park behind the Columbus Trade and Convention Center next to the Dillingham Street bridge.You can get on the Riverwalk and go south for several miles, then return.

Yes, the Riverwalk itself sure is but as for a hotel, we came from the Hyatt Place in Columbus by car. So there will be many options for selecting a hotel as you sure will be driving up!
