Visited outside of the school holidays and we had the place almost to ourselves , but what a superb place it is. The place is well set out, easy access, lots of animals to see and the keepers were all really friendly.

Most of the enclosures appear to have been recently renovated and the animals have good, clean environments. There is a good variety of animals and helpful, friendly staff. The cafe/eating area is limited so if you intend to eat then ensure you come prepared ;)
This zoo is implanted in the green, very relaxing to visit. Many animals, and friendly employees.
The top attraction are the 2 bears running around in a very nice habitat.
